What to Expect in Worship
Episcopal worship at Trinity is traditional, reverent, and deeply rooted in the Anglican tradition.
-
Liturgy: Our services follow the classic forms of the Book of Common Prayer, with prayers, scripture readings, and responses led by clergy and congregation. The liturgy is structured, yet welcoming—whether you are familiar or new, you’ll find clear guidance in the printed bulletin.
-
Music: The choir leads the congregation in hymns and psalms, and offers anthems spanning from Renaissance masters to present-day composers, all in the Anglican choral tradition. Most hymns come from The Hymnal 1982, a beloved resource in Episcopal worship. You’ll experience:
-
Congregational singing of hymns and psalms
-
Choir-led anthems and responses
-
Music that enriches the liturgy and invites participation
-
-
Style: The worship is both beautiful and accessible, with moments of quiet reflection, joyful singing, and shared prayer.
You’ll find the order of service in a printed bulletin that guides you step by step. You don’t need to know what to do: simply follow along, listen, and participate as you feel comfortable.
About Holy Communion
All baptized Christians are welcome to receive Communion. If you prefer not to receive Communion, you may come forward for a blessing. If you’re unsure, a greeter or usher can help guide you. If you are unable to navigate steps, Communion will be brought to you.

If you’re unfamiliar with Episcopal worship, you’re not alone. Bulletins include clear instructions and explain what’s happening as we go.
No one will single you out.
If you’d like a brief introduction before the service, let a greeter know — they’ll be happy to help.
